After almost a year of planning and drawing my own house plans, I began construction. I completed it and moved in with my wife, Lynne, and two small children in December 1982. Four years later, I decided to go in business for myself selling siding, windows and a little later remodeling homes. Only through God’s Grace and goodness could this have been possible.
Hello, my name is Carl Duff, President of C.T. Duff Builders, Inc. Today we still do windows, siding, custom remodeling and in 1991 started building custom homes also. We have built everything from a simple deck to custom homes ranging from 1400 S.F. to over 3500 S.F. We work mostly throughout Onslow and Pender Counties but have also built homes in the Wilmington and Carolina Beach area.
I love remodeling, especially kitchens and baths. I’m a good listener and fortunate enough to visualize what the customer wants. Our customers have told us that we have customized kitchens and bathrooms beyond their expectations. This is possible because of the great workers we have, who’ve been with us a long time. They are polite, hard working, dependable, honest and I could go on and on! We all agree the customer pays the bill and their satisfaction is most important.
I look forward each day to working directly with customers about remodeling their home or building their dream home. I enjoy their excitement, hearing their ideas and sharing with them ideas I have learned over the last 23 years.
We still have the same window and siding installers that were factory trained in 1986. I still live in the same home I built in 1982 with a couple of additions and some remodeling. Also I am still married to the same beautiful lady, and we now have 4 wonderful grandchildren. We have been members of Folkstone FWB Church for over 25 years. God has truly blessed us.
